The feature-length anime adaptation of Io Sakisaka’s “Omoi, Omoware, Furi, Furare” (“Love Me, Love Me Not”) will have its opening theme sung by popular Japanese band BUMP OF CHICKEN. Titled “Gravity”, this is the first time in over nine years that the band will be providing the theme of an anime.

“Omoi, Omoware, Furi, Furare” follows the story of Yuna Ichihara whose best friend moves away before the start of high school, and is befriended by her new neighbour Akari Yamamoto. Yuna has a crush on a boy named Kazuomi Inui, and Akari tries to get them together.

However, things start to get more complicated when Yuna starts falling for Akari’s stepbrother Rio instead — who himself harbours more than familial feelings for his stepsister. Meanwhile, Akari is becoming attracted to Kazuomi, while Kazuomi is trying to deny his feelings for Akari out of respect for Rio.
