The fourth season second cour of “Haikyu!! TO THE TOP” has unveiled its theme song artistes: SUPER BEAVER for the opening theme with their track “breakthrough” and SPYAIR for the ending theme with their song “One Day”. Not one but two teaser promotional videos were uploaded to the official Toho YouTube account to accompany the announcement.

“Haikyuu!!” is a coming of age story that centres on high school volleyball. Hinata, who belongs to the Karasuno High School Volleyball Club in Miyagi Prefecture, shows his grit and works hard together with fellow genius setter Tobio Kageyama. “Haikyuu!!” has also been adapted into a TV anime series, stage plays, light novels, and videogames.

“Haikyuu!!” ended 20th July 2020, 8½ years after it started serialization in 2012, with a full-colour 28-page centrefold in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump 33 + 34 double issue. “Haikyu!!” is just the latest in a number of titles ending this year on Weekly Shounen Jump — which includes major hits such as “Kimetsu no Yaiba” and “The Promised Neverland”.
