Fujita’s “Wotaku ni Koi wa Muzukashii” released its 9th volume yesterday — 5th August 2020, to reach a total of 10 million copies in circulation. To celebrate the milestone, a new key visual and a new promotional video were also unveiled.

In addition, a “Virtual Fireworks Festival” will be shown on the giant screens at AINZ & TULPE Shinjuku East Exit from 5th to 9th August at 18:00 to 21:00 JST / 17:00 to 20:00 SGT. Fans who won’t be able to make it to the outdoor screenings can also enjoy the virtual fireworks at home via the special Wotakoi website.

Also known as “WotaKoi”, “Wotaku ni Koi wa Muzukashii” is a comedy about the difficulties of finding love as an otaku and a working adult. It was made into a TV animation in 2018 and made into a live-action movie in 2020.
