Via Comic Natalie: Haruichi Furudate’s manga “Haikyuu!!” launched the “Haikyuu!! Exhibition” at TFU Gallery Mini Mori in Miyagi Prefecture on 19th September 2020. “Haikyuu!!” centres on the story of high school student Shoyo Hinata — a volleyball novice, who has partnered up and trained with genius setter Tobio Kageyama. With 43 volumes published, “Haikyuu!!” has exceeded a total circulation of 38 million copies.

A popular boys manga, it has released its final chapter last 20th July 2020 — 8½ years after it started serialization in 2012, with a full-colour 28-page centrefold in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump 33 + 34 double issue. A TV anime adaptation was broadcast in 2014, with a second and third season following in 2015 and 2016 respectively; the fourth and final season started airing in 2020 to coincide with the end of the manga series. “Haikyuu!!” also has a popular stage adaptation titled “Hyper Projection Play “Haikyuu!!”
