An illustration collection titled “Comic Market 45th Anniversary Book”, commemorating the 45th anniversary of “Comic Market“, will be released on December 28th 2020; the very first “Comic Market” was held on 21st December 1975 in Tokyo.

However, due to the effects of COVID-19, “Comic Market 98” scheduled to be held in May 2020 was cancelled, and “Comic Market 99” scheduled to be held in December 2020 was postponed to 2021. Various projects were held online to take its place.

“COMIC MARKET 45th Anniversary Book” will be sold at Animate, Toranoana, and Melon Books stores in Japan starting 1st December; each copy is priced at JPY 3300 yen including tax.
