Tomoko Yamashita’s best-selling BL horror-mystery manga “Sankaku Mado no Sotogawa wa Yoru”, which has sold over 1 million copies since it started serialization in April 2013, will be adapted into a TV anime. The announcement was made on Twitter by the publisher Kurofune Libre.

“Sankaku Mado no Sotogawa wa Yoru” centres on Kosuke Mikado, a bookstore clerk with anxiety issues due to his straneg power of being able to see ghosts and spirits. He is recruited by Rihito Hiyakawa, a paranormal investigator and exorcist, to help solve mysteries involving both the living and the dead.

The live-action theatrical adaptation of “Sankaku Mado no Sotogawa wa Yoru” — starring Masaki Okada and Jun Shison, is also slated for release in cinemas on 22nd January 2021.
