Via Comic Natalie: the first promotional video of Takeshi Konomi’s “The New Prince of Tennis Hyotei vs Rikkai Game of Future” has been revealed today — 26th December 2020! The video features the new theme song “1/2 no Mirai e” by Rei Todoroki. A release window has also been set, with the two-part movie slated to hit cinemas in early Spring 2021.

“New Prince of Tennis Hyotei vs. Rikkai Game of Future” is produced to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the TV anime “Prince of Tennis”. After the U-17 World Cup, a confrontation between Hyotei Gakuen led by Keigo Atobe and Rikkai led by Seiichi Yukimura, has evolved into an exhibition match.
