Authorised Books of Japan has launched the sixth instalment of the “STOP! Kaizokuban” campaign, aimed at eradicating manga pirated sites started today on February 16th. Top Japanese authors have contributed to the project, including the following:

In December 2020, the total number of page views to the top 10 piracy sites has exceeded 200 million and is even higher than the peak access of the notorious piracy site Manga-mura. The total damage caused by the top five illegal manga sites was estimated to be JPY 41.4 billion.
