Via Comic Natalie: Yasunori Tanaka’s “Summer Time Rendering” has officially ended with its 139th chapter released today — 1st February 2020, on Shonen Jump +.

To commemorate the occasion, a TV anime adaptation, a real escape game, and a live-action adaptation has been announced! Although no release window has been revealed for both the anime and the live-action, the real escape game is slated for Summer 2021 in Wakayama Prefecture — the setting of the series.

“Summer Time Rendering” tells the story of Shinpei Ajiro. After his parents’ death, he lived with the Kofune sisters, Mio and Ushio, in Wakayama Prefecture — but he has since moved to Tokyo. After Ushio drowns while trying to save a child, Shinpei returns home to Wakayama; however, he begins to question Ushio’s death after mysterious new evidence comes to light.
