The third season of “THUNDERBOLT FANTASY” — first announced way back in December 2018, finally has an official airdate: 3rd Apri 2021! “THUNDERBOLT FANTASY” is written and conceptualised by legendary anime and visual novel writer, Gen Urobuchi; some of his renowned writing credits include “Madoka Magica”, “Fate/Zero”, and “Shin Godzilla”.

“THUNDERBOLT FANTASY” is a co-production between Nitroplus, Good Smile Company, and Taiwanese puppet production company PILI Multimedia Inc. It follows the story of reluctant travel companions, the honourable swordsman Sho Fu Kan and the mysterious military strategist Lin Setsu A, who become embroiled in a series of events involving a cache of powerful magical swords.
