An original TV anime “Visual Prison” by Noriyasu Agematsu of Elements Garden fame has been announced for October 2021. Illustrated by Ikumi Katagiri, the story of “Visual Prison” centres on groups of youthful-looking vampires battling it out for supremacy in Harajuku, Tokyo through “visual-kei” -style Japanese rock. A teaser video has been released to hype up the announcement.

A-1 Pictures, which produced the “Uta no Prince-sama Maji LOVE” series and “Hypnosismic -Division Rap Battle-Rhyme Anima” is in charge of the production for “Visual Prison”. The initial cast includes some top names including Shoya Chiba, Makoto Furukawa, Hiroki Nanami, Shun Horie, Takuya Eguchi, Nobunaga Shimazaki, Takuma Nagatsuka, Shogo Yano, Toshiki Masuda, and Aoi Shota.
