AMUSE has announced on their official website that three of their talents ONE OK ROCK, Takeru Satoh, and Ryunosuke Kamiki will be leaving the agency. An unofficial translation of their statement follows:

Thank you for your warm support for our artistes. ONE OK ROCK, Takeru Satoh, and Ryunosuke Kamiki will be working independently from our company starting 1st April 2021, in order to take on fresh challenges towards a new era. AMUSE would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who has supported them for more than 10 years with us.

ONE OK ROCK will set up their own office and challenge a bigger stage, focusing on accelerating their overseas activities — which they have been seriously pursuing for quite some time.

Based on their activities and experience, Takeru Satoh and Ryunosuke Kamiki will continue to work as actors, as well as take on new challenges at a new company — in which we will participate by providing capital, and aiming for a huge leap forward.

Until now, we at AMUSE have respected the values and individuality of each artiste, and have delivered ideas and works that emerge from their talents to their numerous fans. We will continue to support a wide variety of new challenges that artistes are facing in various ways.

We look forward to your continued support for ONE OK ROCK, Takeru Satoh, and Ryunosuke Kamiki.

All three artistes — ONE OK ROCK, Takeru Satoh, and Ryunosuke Kamiki, have worked together on the feature-length film adaptations of the popular “Rurouni Kenshin” series.
