The PlayStation Store has announced that it will discontinue sales and rentals of movies and TV series on its platform.

Users can still access the content they have previously bought through the PlayStation Store, but can no longer make additional purchases.

In the meantime, user can still view films and series from other subscription services such as Netflix and hulu — all available on the PlayStation Store.
