The upcoming “Space Battleship Yamato” compilation film “Uchuu Senkan Yamato to Iu Jidai: Seireki 2202-nen no Sentaku” — which combines the “Space Battleship Yamato 2199” and “Space Battleship Yamato 2202” anime, has announced a new screening date of 11th June 2021. It was initially slated to hit cinemas in Japan last 15th January 2021 but was postponed due to COVID-19.

The film will play on just 36 screens on a limited three-week screening run, but fans who can’t catch it in cinemas need not despair as the BD/DVD will also be released on 11th June.
