BANDAI NAMCO Online and BANDAI NAMCO Studios have jointly developed an online action RPG for the PC titled “Blue Protocol“, with the new single by Japanese superband L’Arc-en-Ciel titled “Mirai” selected as the opening theme. Set in the world of Engram, “Blue Protocol” follows the story of the unnamed protagonist suffering from amnesia, who must unravel his connection with a mysterious dead civilisation called the “Bafalia”. The game’s CBT just ended in April 2021, with a general release out soon.

Formed in Osaka in 1991, L’Arc-en-Ciel made their major debut in 1994 with the single “Nemuri ni Yosete”. After a successful string of singles, albums, and live concerts, they embarked on a world tour in 2012 covering Asia, America, and Europe. L’Arc-en-Ciel celebrated their 30th anniversary with “30th L’Anniversary Starting Live L’AAPPY BIRTHDAY!” “at Makuhari Messe International Exhibition Hall 1-3 last 29th and 30th May 2021.
