Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie – Mugen Train” will be gracing the covers of four fashion and beauty magazines from its publisher Shueisha, to commemorate the release of its BD / DVD on 16th June 2021. The magazines are the July issue of MEN’S NON-NO out on 9th June, the August issue of MAQUIA out on 22nd June, the August issue of SPUR out on 23rd June, and the August issue of MORE out on 28th June.

“Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie – Mugen Train” has officially surpassed the box office take of Studio Ghibli’s bestselling film “Spirited Away” as of 27th December 2020. “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie – Mugen Train” was also the fastest film in Japanese movie history to earn JPY 10 billion, taking only ten days to reach the sum. In comparison, “Spirited Away” ran for 25 days before totalling the same amount.

“Kimetsu no Yaiba” is set during the Taisho Era in Japan where human-eating demons existed, charcoal-seller Tanjiro Kamado had his life changed forever when his family was slaughtered by a demon. He embarked on a journey to avenge his family, and help cure his little sister Nezuko who was cursed into becoming a half-demon.
