Via Comic Natalie: Itagaki Paru may have ended “BEASTARS” in October 2021, but now fans have something to look forward to as a new series “SANDA” will start serialisation on Weekly Shonen Champion No. 34 out on 21st July 2021. Itagaki has released three concept sketches of the main characters of SANDA to accompany the announcement — check them out below.

“SANDA” is set in a not-too-distant future where declining birthrates have led to serious societal complications. The theme is reminiscent of the social commentary on her previous hit series “BEASTARS”.
