Via Comic Natalie: The anime adaptation of Gege Akutami’s mystery-horror manga “Jujutsu Kaisen” will be hosting a “Jujutsu Kaisen Exhibition” from now til 5th September 2021 at the Tokyo Anime Center in DNP PLAZA SHIBUYA. Check out the sneak peek below!

The event will be divided into two periods, with the first half of the exhibition covering episodes 1 to 13 of the anime currently running to 1st August, and the second half of the exhibition covering episodes 14 to 24 from 6th August to 5th September.

On display are scenes in the works, product materials such as original drawings and storyboards, and giant images projected on a large screen. One of the highlights of the event is a “Gojo Satoru Life-size Figure” made just for the exhibition. Tickets are available for JPY 1700, while advance can be balloted for JPY 1500 via E+.

“Jujutsu Kaisen” tells the story of Yuuji Itadori, an athletic high school student who joins his school’s Occult Club to avoid being forced into his school’s track team. He lives alone with his grandfather, who upon his deathbed asked Yuuji to “always help people”. When the Occult Club he belongs to accidentally unseal a cursed item — a rotting finger, Yuuji swallows the finger to protect his friends.

Yuuji becomes the host of Sukuna, a powerful Curse — but despite his demonic possession, Yuuji is still able to control his body. Yuuji is condemned to find and consume the rest of Sukuna’s fingers, and be executed in order to destroy Sukuna for all eternity.
