The live-action movie adaptation of the anime “Osomatsu-san” based on the original work by Fujio Akatsuka has been announced! “Osomatsu-san” will star members of the up and coming male group Snow Man, and is slated for release in the spring of 2022. The film will be directed by Tsutomu Hanabusa with a screenplay by Ryoichi Tsuchiya.

Fujio Akatsuka’s “Osomatsu-san” depicts the Matsuno siblings as being ten years older than their original counterparts in “Osomatsu-kun”. All six brothers are now irresponsible NEETs, with their own quirks, but still manage to stir up the same trouble as children — if not more.
