Via Comic Natalie: to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the animated adaptation of Monkey Punch’s “Lupin III”, the movie “Lupin III Cagliostro’s Castle” and the short film “Is Lupine still burning?” will be re-screened simultaneously in cinemas all over Japan starting 1st October.

To entice both long-standing supporters and new fans, a limited number of souvenir pamphlets and A4 clear files with illustrations of the initial run in Japan will be distributed.

“Lupin III Cagliostro’s Castle” was first released in 1979, directed by Hayao Miyazaki. Set in the small European country of Cagliostro, the movie shows the adventures of Lupine and Princess Claris.
