Via Comic Natalie: “Saint Seiya” has dropped a new logo in celebration of its 35th anniversary! The new logo also hints at more reveals, special announcements, and new projects in connection with the event.

In other news, Toei Animation and Sony Pictures have announced that filming on the live-Action Hollywood adaptation had wrapped in Europe. Shot in Croatia and Hungary, the film stars Mackenyu Arata, Nick Stahl, Sean Bean, Madison Iseman, Diego Tinoco, Famke Janssen, and Mark Dacascos. “Saint Seiya” was directed by Tomek Baginsky — executive producer of Netflix’s “The Witcher” and “Into the Night”, written by Josh Campbell & Matt Stacken, with stunt coordination by Andy Chen.

“Saint Seiya” follows the story of the eponymous Seiya, a Japanese boy, who becomes the bearer of the mystic Bronze Cloth of the Pegasus Constellation — and becomes the Pegasus Saint. Together with the other Saints, they protect the weak and fight for justice. “Saint Seiya” was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump in 1985, where its enduring popularity resulted in multiple TV, movie, and game adaptations.
