Known for her songs, “Life is like a boat” (Bleach), “Anata ga Koko ni Iru Riyuu” (D.Grayman), and “ I want to Go to a Place” (Gundam Seed Destiny), Japanese singer/songwriter Rie fu is back in the music scene with a series of one-man live shows. “Welcome to at Rie TOUR 2015” will begin on 10 April 2015 in Kyoto, Japan. The tour will head down for a few stops in Japan before heading to other Asian countries like Hong Kong, China and Singapore.

Rie fu has come a long way since her debut in 2004. She has since released 7 studio albums and 14 singles. Her latest album “I” was released on 12 November 2014. Currently, Rie fu has relocated her activities in Singapore. She recently sang live at J-Obsessions 2015 held at The Cathay on 15 Mar 2015.

For her stint in Singapore, she will be holding a special exhibition entitled “Growing Singapore: Construction Site Paintings” at the Japan Creative Center on 24 April 2015 – 9 May 2015. The exhibition holds several of her paintings of what can understandably be one of the most unexpected and overlooked places – the construction site. She draws inspiration from her surroundings and captures it believing that the radiancy of these colours and energy from  each site is impacted by a country’s economy and architectural growth. She has drawn more than 100 paintings of construction sites around the world.
