Osomatsu-kun will be returning as an anime after a long 27 years. Although this is third time the evergreen manga will be receiving an anime adaptation, it will be first time it is being animated after its creator’s passing in 2008. The first anime adaptation was launched back in 1966 and ran till 1967, while the second adaptation ran from 1988 till 1989. The story revolves around the sextuplets who are all in-love with a girl named Totoko, and the comedy that ensues but this new series will now follow the sextuplets as adults, as they were previously featured as 10-year olds in the manga.
