MikitoP

Vocaloid fans rejoice! Famed vocaloid producer MikitoP (みきとP) will be making an appearance at AFAID this year.

Miku and Miki

MikitoP first started composing in 2010 using SF-A2 miki (see the relation to his name?). His claim to fame came in 2011 with the aid of Hatsune Miku, and the song title is called Sayoko.

Ironically, his most popular song by far was with GUMI and Kagamine Rin in 2012, titled Ii Aru Fanclub, where it was featured in the Nintendo 3DS rhythm game Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai 2. Another track that has entered the coveted Hall of Legend alongside 1, 2 Fanclub is Sarishinohara.

It is interesting to note that Sarishinohara is an anagram for Sashihara Rino (a current member of HKT48, former member of AKB48), with references to her identity in the song lyrics as well.

Under Exit Tunes, MikitoP has since released two major albums: Boku wa Hatsune Miku to Kisu wo Shita and Good School Girl, in 2013 and 2014 respectively. The former features compilations of his hit songs whilst the latter focuses more on his recent works.

As of July 2015, he has released his first single with his own vocals, whereas in the past he has covered songs under the alias Aijima (愛島).
