Universal Studios Japan (USJ) is already packed with attractions for this summer, including ones from One Piece, Death Note, and Dragon Ball, as well as their upcoming Yo-Kai Watch attractions. But the park is gonna get even more jam-packed, as AKB48 will be doing daily concerts inside USJ as well!
Starting 21 July and until 9 September 2016, select members of AKB48, as well as their sister groups, NMB48, HKT48, and NGT48, will be having daily concerts, which will have a total of 112 appearances in USJ’s Stage 14 during that period. Also during this time, the mega group will be performing 2 – 3 times a day for the fans in attendance! And you thought their schedule was already packed! But then again, this is AKB48 we are talking about!

Not only that, but the group will also have eight concerts in the theme park’s Gramercy Park. And to top things off, the the Hollywood Dream roller coaster’s music will be changed to AKB48 songs during that period.

There will be a surcharge to attend these daily concerts, so in addition to the standard 7,400 yen ticket to Universal Studios Japan, there will be an additional 2,500 yen charge if you want to watch AKB48 live during this period. The total will add up to 9,900 yen. Alternatively, USJ ticketholders can purchase passes to the Stage 14 concerts on the day they’re being held for 3,000 yen, but only when quantities allow (admission to the Gramercy Park concerts is only available to combo ticket buyers).
