Prepare for even more chills, frights, blood, and guts, as the live-action film adaptation of Team GrisGris’ horror adventure game series, Corpse Party, is officially getting itself a sequel, and a new trailer has finally been revealed, which gives us a taste of all the scares, and it also previews the film’s theme song “Sabaku no Ame” by seiyuu, Asami Imai.

The video also reveals the film’s release date, which will be on 30 July 2016. Not only that, a new poster visual has also been revealed, and it promises that this sequel will be just as bloody as the first one.

Nogozaka46 member, Rina Ikoma, who appeared along with the other cast members of the main cast, like  Ryosuke Ikeoka and Nozomi Maeda, during a press conference for the film, are confirmed to return for the sequel, which is titled “Corpse Party: Book of Shadows”. Much like the first movie, the sequel will once again be directed by renowned Japanese horror director,  Masafumi Yamada, who is responsible for directing various J-horror works like the Hontouni Atta Kowai Hanashi series and Tsuburo no Kara.
