At Anime Japan 2015, a flyer revealed that not only will the Haruhi Suzumiya spin-off anime, “The Disappearance of Nagato Yuuki-chan”, be having having a 16 episodes run. The series will also be getting its own OVA, and new details on that very OVA have now been revealed.

The OVA will come bundled with the limited edition volume 9 of Puyo’s spinoff manga, which will be released on 26 October. The OVA will be approximately 25 minutes long, and will be released in Blu-ray format. The entire manga and OVA limited edition bundle will cost 4,536 yen.

Meanwhile, The Disappearance of Nagato Yuuki-chan will premiere in Japan on 3 April 2015. Nagato personality will follow the shy and “normal” Yuki Nagato introduced in “The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya” movie. The anime will be based on the manga series by Puyo, which is a spin-off to Nagaru Tanigawa’s Haruhi Suzumiya light novel series.

The anime’s main cast will be returning from the main series as Aya Hirano (Fairy tail’s Lucy Heartfilia) resumes her iconic role as Haruhi Suzumiya, while Minori Chihara (Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere’s Horizon Ariadust) resumes her role as Yuki Nagato. Tomokazu Sugita (Gintama’s Gintoki Sakata) meanwhile resumes his role as Kyon, while Yuko Goto (Shuffle!’s Kaede Fuyou) resumes her role as Mikuru Asahina.
