During a special Yowamushi Pedal (YowaPe) fan event in Japan, the staff and cast revealed a new trailer for the upcoming Yowamushi Pedal movie. The new trailer announces that the movie will make its premiere this 28 August in theaters across Japan.

In a previous article, we revealed that this new YowaPe movie will have series creator, Wataru Watanabe himself, making the draft for the movie’s scenario, which will be a completely new story.

The staff has also unveiled that they will be making a new compilation movie titled Yowamushi Pedal Re:ROAD, which compiles the events from the Yowamushi Pedal: Grande Road TV anime series. They also unveiled the compilation movie’s key visual image:

The compilation movie will be screened only in selected theaters for two weeks beginning on 12 June. It will not feature familiar scenes from the second season but also several new animation sequences. The staff also announced tha J-rock band, LASTGASP will perform the compilation’s theme song titled, Believer.
