Hollywood is where all the magic of movies happen, and last weekend on 14 Jul, an advance screening for the live-action movie adaptation of Attack on Titan was screened in the historical Hollywood landmark, the Egyptian Theater. The premiere even came complete with a few titans on the red carpet.

Also present during its Hollywood premiere in Los Angeles, California, were the movies’ two leads, Haruma Miura and Kiko Mizuhara, who played Eren Yeager and Mikasa Ackerman respectively. Also attending the red carpet premiere is director Shinji Higuchi, and all three looked natural amid the glitz and glam of Hollywood.

However, the red carpet event was clearly stolen by some of its official titan cosplayers, who seem to have grabbed the attention of many of the premiere’s moviegoers.

That Colossal Titan does look a bit stunted. Perhaps he needs a bit more practice in transforming?I

It looked like their “Attack on Red Carpet” was a huge success and everybody had lots of fun. This is only the Hollywood premiere though, as the movie is yet to have its formal premiere in Japan this 1 August. It will also be shown in Singapore in the same month this coming 13 August.

And speaking of Singapore and advance screenings, there will be one for media personnel in the country this coming Wednesday, 22 July 2015. The time and date for this media screening have yet to be confirmed. Encore Films will be distributing the movie, which will be available in Japanese audio with both English and Chinese subtitles. It will be shown at various Golden Village cinemas across Singapore.
