During the end of the broadcast of One Piece: Episode of Sabo: Bond of Three Brothers – A Miraculous Reunion and an Inherited Will!, it was announced that One Piece will be having a new movie, and it is slated sometime in the summer of 2016.

According to the anime’s official website, this upcoming 2016 film will be the 13th one in the franchise, with the last one, One Piece Film Z, being showed back in 2012.

No further announcements had been made for the movie, but it was announced that on the 40th issue of this year’s Weekly Shounen Jump! magazine, One Piece creator, Eiichiro Oda will be making a comment about the movie himself.

The official website also confirmed that the main voice cast of the anime, which comprises of Mayumi Tanaka (Luffy), Hiroaki Hirata (Sanji), Kappei Yamaguchi (Usopp), Akemi Okamura (Nami), Kazuya Nakai (Zoro), Ikue Otani (Chopper), Yuriko Yamaguchi (Nico), and Kazuki Yao (Frankie), will all be a part of the upcoming 2016 movie.
