The official twitter page for the live-action stage play adaptation of the anime classic “Ghost in the Shell” has posted several new images, revealing the show’s cast members in their respective characters’ costume. The cast is led by none other than Kaede Aono as Motoko Kusanagi herself.

Also revealed are the other main characters for the play, and they are:

Ryunosuke Matsumura as Saito

Ikkyu Jyuku as Aramaki

Tatsuya Isaka as Ishikawa

Veteran seiyuu, Ikyuu Jyuku shows his dedication to the character of Aramaki, as he not only plays the character, but he is also the seiyuu for that character in the anime.

Tow Ubukata himself, who wrote the screenplay for the original movie, will be supervising the play, with Junichi Fujisaki, the Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex script writer, working on the script. The play will be directed by Shutaro Oku, who is no stranger to anime/manga-based plays as he directed Blood-C The Last Mind stage play last July.

The play will be shown at the Tokyo Metropolitan Theater Playhouse from 5 – 15 November 2015, with regular seats priced at 6,900 yen and premium seats priced at 9,900 yen.
