THE iDOLM@STER SideM welcomes October with the unveiling of two new preview videos for THE IDOLM@STER SideM ST@RTING LINE – 05 W and THE IDOLM@STER SideM ST@RTING LINE – 06 S.E.M.

The track list for both CDs follow a similar format to previous iDOLM@STER SideM releases, including two unit songs, a two-part drama track, and the unit’s version of the song “DRIVE A LIVE”. The full track lists are as follows:

W comprises of brothers who were formerly professional soccer players: the older Yusuke Aoi (Takeru Kikuchi) and younger Kyosuke Aoi (Yoshitaka Yamaya). S.E.M consists of ex-teachers Jiro Yamashita (Yoshiki Nakajima)Rui Maita (Junya Enoki) and Michio Hazama (Kento Ito). The first letter of the subjects they teach – Science, English and Mathematics respectively, make up their unit name “S.E.M”.

The two albums will go on sale 21 October 2015. THE iDOLM@STER SideM’s first live concert, “THE IDOLM@STER SideM 1st STAGE ~ST@RTING~”, will be held on 6 December 2015 at MAIHAMA Amphitheatre. The current lists of performers include:

  • Beit [Yuichiro Umehara (Kyoji Takajo), Shun Horie (Pierre), Tomohito Takatsuka (Watanabe Minori)]
  • High×Joker [Shou Nogami (Shiki Iseya), Shoya Chiba (Hayato Akiyama), Yusuke Shirai (Haruna Wakazato), Takuma Nagatsuka (Jun Fuyumi), Hiroshi Watanabe (Natsuki Sakaki)]
  • W [Takeru Kikuchi (Yusuke Aoi), Yoshitaka Yamaya (Kyosuke Aoi)]
  • S.E.M [Kento Ito (Michio Hazama), Junya Enoki (Rui Maita), Yoshiki Nakajima (Jiro Yamashita)]

The first press release of the CDs will include more balloting tickets for the first live. Additionally, it will also include a limited in-game card and an application ticket for the W and S.E.M CD release celebration event that is happening on 15 November 2015. The event will feature not only the members of the two units, but also features Shugo Nakamura (who plays Teru Tendo) as the emcee. As for the limited in-game card, it will be given out via a serial code. The card’s rank is SR+, and players can choose one idol from the unit of the respective CD they have purchased.

The game is also holding a collaboration event with the mobile RPG Granblue Fantasy. On Granblue Fantasy’s side, it will be held from 7 October 2015 to 19 October 2015. Players can obtain the members of DRAMATIC STARS and Beit’s Pierre through advancing in the event. As for iDOLM@STER SideM, a series of short 4-koma, fully voiced by the characters, are currently being released. A new 4-koma will be unveiled every day.

But that’s not all! The iDOLM@STER SideM game is also holding a collaboration with another popular game – Taiko no Tatsujin! The song “DRIVE A LIVE” will be available to play on all Taiko no Tatsujin Murasaki version machines for the month of October. Those with a Bandai Namco passport card or Osaifu-Keitai can also obtain an in-game SR+ Yusuke Aoi card by playing the song on Taiko no Tatsujin.
