The theme song is titled “Black Me Up,” which will definitely not her first time singing a One Piece theme song, as she has previously performed the long-running pirate anime’s 14th OP theme song, “Fight Together.” The song will be released as part of Namie Amuro’s upcoming new single, “Red Carpet,” which is scheduled for release this 22 December.

Scheduled to be broadcasted on 19 December, this One Piece special will feature an original story directed by the anime’s original director, Kounosuke Uda. He will be teaming up with writer, Atsuhiro Tomioka, who is definitely no stranger to One Piece. More announcements, such as the guest cast members, will be revealed in the days to come. It will follow the Straw Hats’ latest conflict with the Foxy Pirates, and it will take place on a foggy island which prevents Devil Fruit users from using their powers!
