Every year, Good Smile Company releases several new Hatsune Miku figures, the most popular of them being from their Nendoroid line of cute and super-deformed figures. Now, they are teaming up with robotic toy makers, iDoll, in order to make a their very own Hatsune Miku Nendoroid be able to move, sing, and dance, just like the virtual diva herself!

The figure will be fully introduced this Sunday, 7 February, during this year’s edition of the Winter Wonder Festival (WonFes) at the Makuhari Messe Hall in Chiba. GSC will be providing the sculpt, with iDoll will be handling the robotics portion of this new figure, which will be big enough to sing and dance at the palm of your hands. iDoll also started streaming a video which shows the concept of the robotic Nendoroid Mikus they will be working on.

Dubbed as “communications robots,” these dancing Miku Nendos will incorporate iDoll’s robotics into GSC’s cute little Nendoroid bodies, and as indicated by the video, they should also be able to both sing and dance as well.
