2016 will be yet another solid year for Pokemon, Not only are we celebrating the franchise’s 20th anniversary with two new games in Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon, as well as a new fighting game with Pokken Tournament, but we are also getting a brand new Pokemon movie, titled Pokémon the Movie XY & Z: Volcanion to Karakuri no Magearna. The movie will feature two new legendary Pokemon in Volcanion and Magearna. Two new trailers have also been released for the upcoming film:

The first video is the full one-and-a-half minute trailer, while the second video is the 30-second teaser trailer. Both feature the two new Legendaries who are key to the film’s plot. The story will follow Ash and friends as they meet the mythical Fire/Water Pokemon, Volcanion, who is in the midst of a rescue mission to save Magearna from a corrupt minister who aims to use the artificial Pokemon for his own evil intentions.
