Series mangaka, Kentaro Miura, has become quite infamous for his long and frequent hiatuses, which have gone on for years. Many fans have joked that he goes on hiatus every time a new iDOLM@STER game gets released because of the pattern of his hiatuses. The latest iDOLM@STER game, Platinum Stars, was released for the PS4 earlier this year.
