With a new movie coming out later this month, as well as a live-action Hollywood movie by Netflix in 2017, Death Note seems to be having another card up its sleeve, as Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata’s bestselling suspense thriller manga is getting one huge compilation.

Boasting 2,400 pages and a thickness of 8cm, this special manga compilation will contain all 12 Death Note manga volumes and one previously unpublished special story which was first released in Weekly Shouen Jump for the Death Note movie, L: Change the World back in 2008.

And from the looks of it, this thing is gonna be heavy too, and may be heavier than a hardbound dictionary… or those back-breaking heavy books I’ve been carrying around back in College. The compilation manga costs 2,500 yen, and is slated for release in japan on 4th October.
