For the first time in nearly two years, and on their 13th concert at the famed Tokyo Dome, Japanese superband L’Arc~en~Ciel held their 25th Anniversary Live last weekend — the 8th and 9th of April 2017. With only 110,000 slots available for the almost 600,000 fans who signed up for the ticket lotteries, the band also held live viewing events locally and overseas, as reported by natalie.mu.

One of the biggest draws for L’Arc~en~Ciel concerts is their creative use of technology to the concert experience extra special. Following a trend they set in tehir previous concerts, L’Arc~en~Ciel used LED bracelets controlled by wifi to create a mysterious and alluring light show that was both exhilarating and breath-taking.
