A new diving anime series — unsurprisingly called “DIVE!!”, will hit screens on FUJI TV’s “noitamina” block starting 6th July 2017! DIVE!! features a stellar cast, including top tier voice actors Yuki Kaji, Takahiro Sakurai, Yuichi Nakamura, Kaori Nazuka, Ryouta Osaka, Kouki Uchiyama, Yuusuke Kobayashi, and Tomokazu Sugita!
DIVE!! was originally written by author and screenwriter Eto Mori, as a four-volume novel series between 2000 and 2002. The plot revolves around the Mizuki Diving Club, which is on the verge of closing down due to bankruptcy. The club is able to convince their parent company keep them open, if they manage to produce a diver good enough to join the Japanese Olympic team.
