C3 AFA Singapore 2017 is finally here! Happening at the Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre from the 24th to the 26th of November 2017, this year’s convention welcomes popular animation director Seiji Mizushima! Seiji Mizushima is here to reach out to fans in not just one but two stage events: for the upcoming anime “Beatless”, and for the 10th anniversary of “MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM 00”!

Beatless is a story of separation and coexistence between mankind and an existence that has surpassed human intellect. Society has been practically entrusted to the androids, known as the hIE. One day, a 17-year old youth, Arata Endo, encounters the android Lacia, and forms a contract of ownership with her. While looking like a human, she’s 1 of 5 high-performance androids with an unbelievable, high-performing AI, known as the “Creation unattainable by Man”. Each android has their own purpose, and a battle breaks out as they fight for each other’s abilities.

In MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM 00, it is the year is 2307 A.D. Although fossil fuels have been depleted, humanity has obtained a new source of energy to replace them, in the form of a large-scale solar power generation system based on three huge orbital elevators. However, the benefits of this system are available only to a handful of major powers and their allies. In this world of never-ending conflict, a private armed organization appears, dedicated to the elimination of war through armed force. Its name is Celestial Being, and it is in possession of “Gundam” mobile suits. With these Gundams, it begins armed intervention into all acts of war.

He is a director involved in Japanese animation. Some of his representative works include “Expelled from Paradise”, “Mobile Suit Gundam 00”, “Full Metal Alchemist” and more. His first full-length feature, 2005’s “Fullmetal Alchemist the Movie: Conqueror of Shamballa”, received an award at the 60th Mainichi Film Awards in the animation category. In 2015, he also received an individual honour in the 20th Kobe Animation Awards.
