The “Gundam 00 Festival 10 Re:vision” event in Tokyo kicked off the 10th anniversary celebrations for Mobile Suit Gundam 00. During the event, they revealed several huge announcements, and that includes a new sequel project for the series. However, they didn’t reveal what media this sequel series will be. This means that it may be an anime (TV, film, OVA, ONA), manga, or any other media.
And that’s not all because the staff also announced a live-action Gundam 00 stage play! But just like the sequel project, the staff didn’t reveal any further details. However, we do know that it’s happening in Japan sometime in February 2019. It looks like we would have to stay tuned for more details regarding these two new announcements.
Gundam 00 is the first Gundam anime to have a 2-season format. The first season premiered in 2007, while the second season premiered in 2008.
