Wright Flyer Studios hit smartphone game “Shoumetsu Toshi” (Annihilation City) will be adapted into a TV anime series by seminal animation studio Madhouse. The announcement was made yesterday, 27th May 2018, at a special event dubbed “PROJECT Shoumetsu Toshi Launch Presentation” at Shinagawa Intercity.
Shoumetsu Toshi is a free-to-play action RPG for smartphones, first released in 2014 and has enjoyed 9 million downloads since. It follows the story of Takuya and Yuki, two people who find themselves alone in a city where all the other residents have mysteriously disapperead. Kana Hanazawa and Tomokazu Sugita will reprise their roles from the game, lead characters Yuki and Takuya, respectively.
