The “Space Battleship Yamato 2202: Soldiers of Love” series — sequel to “Space Battleship Yamato 2199” (2012), which in turn was based on “Space Battleship Yamato” (1974), will be getting a new season this Fall 2018.
In addition to this exciting news, the feature film “Space Battleship Yamato 2202: 5th Chapter Book of Purgatory ” will also get a special stage event and live-viewing at select cinemas in Japan on 25th and 26th May 2018.
