Depicting the cells of the human body as anthropomorphic workers doing their best in their daily tasks, the whimsical molecular comedy has won the hearts of many.
Now, it’s after your wallets as well with this super cute collaboration with Playful Pictures! This adorable capsule collection, featuring four smartphone cases and four keyholders, is slated to hit retail outlets in Japan in the middle of September.
“Hataraku Saibou” (aka “Cells at Work”) is written and illustrated by Akane Shimizu. It features anthropomorphized versions of human cells as they go about their everyday business: keeping the human body functioning, and fighting against outside invaders such as bacteria and viruses.
