The release date for the final chapter of the new “GODZILLA” trilogy has finally been announced! “GODZILLA: PLanet Eater” (“GODZILLA: Hoshi wo Kuu-mono”) will hit Japanese cinemas on 9th November 2018! The first two films were released in Japan on 17th November 2017 and 18th May 2018 respectively; they were also released on international streaming service Netflix on 17th January 2018 and 18th July 2018.
Set in the distant future where Godzilla’s presence has forced humanity to flee for the stars and irrevocably change the Earth’s entire ecosystem, the film will be directed by Kobun Shizuno and Hiroyuki Seshita, with the screenplay written by Nitroplus’ Gen Urobuchi. Castmembers Mamoru Miyano, Takahiro Sakurai, Kana Hanazawa, Tomokazu Sugita, Yuki Kaji, and Junichi Suwabe will be reprising their roles for the final film.
