New production stills from the upcoming final chapter of the “GODZILLA” anime trilogy have been revealed! “GODZILLA: Hoshi wo Kuu-mono” will hit Japanese cinemas on 9th November 2018, with a special advanced screening to be held at the 31st Tokyo International Film Festival on 3rd November 2018.
Set in the distant future where Godzilla’s presence has forced humanity to flee for the stars and irrevocably change the Earth’s entire ecosystem, the film will be directed by Kobun Shizuno and Hiroyuki Seshita, with the screenplay written by Nitroplus’ Gen Urobuchi. Mamoru Miyano, Takahiro Sakurai, Kana Hanazawa, Tomokazu Sugita, Yuki Kaji, and Junichi Suwabe will be reprising their roles for the final film. Check out the full gallery below!
The first two films in the trilogy “Godzilla: Planet of the Monsters” and “Godzilla: City on the Edge of Battle” were released in Japan on 17th November 2017 and 18th May 2018 respectively. They were also released on international streaming service Netflix on 17th January 2018 and 18th July 2018.
