Popular Japanese boy band V6 will be releasing a new single entitled “Super Powers”, which has also been chosen as the new opening theme of the upcoming season of legendary TV anime series “ONE PIECE”. The new season of “ONE PIECE” will begin its broadcast run on 7th October 2018.
V6 is a six-member Japanese boy band that debuted in 1995 with the single “Music for the People”. The band sold more than 13.5 million albums and singles so far, and have collaborated with other anime series such as “Eyeshield 21”, “Inuyasha”, and “Fairy Tail”.
Eiichiro Oda-sensei officially launched “ONE PIECE” back in 1997. The TV anime officially made its debut in 1999, with Toei Animation handling the production. “ONE PIECE” holds the Guinness World Record for “the most copies published for the same comic book series by a single author” with over over 440 million copies worldwide.
