A Certain series fans, rejoice! Because during the “Dengeki Bunko 25th Anniversary Fall Dengeki Festival” event, they announced not one, but two new A Certain Series anime. First up is Arata Yamaji’s A Certain Scientific Accelerator spin-off manga. They revealed a new PV, as well as a new key visual for the upcoming anime during the event.

The staff also announced that it will air sometime in 2019. They then confirmed that Nobuhiko Okamoto is reprising his role as Accelerator, while Rina Hidaka returns as Last Order. Nobuhiro Kamanaka is directing the anime.

The second anime they announced is Season 3 of A Certain Scientific Railgun. That’s right folks, Biri Biri is back with a new season of her spin-off anime! This time, it will tackle the Sports Festival arc from the manga, which the A Certain Scientific Index II anime also covered. They also revealed a new PV and a new key visual as well:

JC Staff is once again animating the new season, with Tatsuyuki Nagai also returning as director. The cast are also returning to reprise their roles as well:

  • Rina Satou as Mikoto Misaka
  • Satomi Arai as Kuroko Shirai
  • Aki Toyosaki as Kazari Uiharu
  • Kanae Itou as Ruiko Saten
  • Azumi Asakura as Misaki Shokuhou

They haven’t revealed much details about its broadcast window yet, but do expect them to announce more details in the future.
