My Hero Academia fans rejoice, because Kouhei Horikoshi’s hit manga series is finally getting a 2.5D stage adaptation! Weekly Shonen Jump’s 52nd issue of the year made the announcement, and it also confirmed a spring 2019 premiere.

The magazine also revealed that its official title is My Hero Academia: The “Ultra” Stage. It will be having shows in both Tokyo and Osaka as well, with Youtai Mitsuyoshi directing it.

As of writing, Jump still hasn’t revealed much information yet, but do expect them to announce the cast, story, and more details soon enough.
