Kazuma, Aqua, Megumin, and Darkness are back, and this time, they’re heading to the big screen! That’s right folks, they’re gonna be starring in KonoSuba – God’s blessing on this wonderful world!! Crimson Legend. And now, the staff have revealed a brand new teaser trailer for the upcoming movie:

From the title, as well as the visual, it looks like the film will be focusing a bit more on the Crimson Demon herself, Megumin. Unfortunately, Michael Bay won’t be directing the film, so don’t expect a lot of explosions… but there will be some.

The cast of the TV anime adaptation Jun Fukushima, Sora Amamiya, Rie Takahashi, Ai Kayano, Yui Horie, and Aki Toyosaki will be reprising their roles. Much of the other support characters are also returning with their respective seiyuu as well. However the biggest change will be the production studio, as the film will be done by JC Staff (the anime TV series was done by Studio Deen).

And while the anime has a new studio, Takaomi Kanasaki is returning to direct the anime. Meanwhile, Makoto Uezo also coming back to write the scripts, as well as Koichi Kikuta as character designer. The film will open in Japan sometime in 2019.
